January - Lisa Aldon is the Program Coordinator for Central New Mexico Community College’s Division of Applied Technologies.  Among her responsibilities is understanding what facility managers need to be efficient in operating their buildings, and knowing what kind of training is needed by their staff personnel

February - NMFMN and CNM are partners.  The goal of the partnership is to understand which technologies facility managers and engineers need to know in order to more efficiently manage their buildings, and to also understand what skill sets their employees (electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians) must have to support them in their mission.

March -  Steve Rohrabacher from Applied Mechanical, Inc., led a crowded but fixated room of facility managers and their suppliers through the whys and how’s of facility “retro-commissioning” at the February breakfast meeting of the New Mexico Facility Managers Network.

April - Heating, air conditioning, and building controls expert Eugene “Smitty” Smithart, a representative from Trane Commercial Systems/Southwest Trane, educated facility managers and their guests on the state-of the-art in these technologies over a southwestern breakfast buffet.  Because these systems are the mechanical “heart’” of facilities and are a major investment and energy consumer, the information was timely and important.
